The new sneakers are the result of a collaboration with ACBC, the first and only Italian start-up recognized as a B Corporation, one of the most authoritative internationally recognized certifications in the field of sustainability. They are distinguished by a minimalist design and clean lines that recall the rounded shapes of O bag bags.
The item is made with certified eco-friendly raw materials: FreeBio RePU and ReCotton. FreeBio RePU represents an alternative material technology to leather, derived from recycled polyester fibers, biological fillers, minerals, and a water-based polyurethane coating. This sustainable and animal-free fabric was created with the aim of obtaining a material that is as responsible as possible, without compromising the performance and durability of the product. ReCotton, on the other hand, consists of pre- and post-consumer recycled cotton fibers. This organic cotton is grown using methods that have a lower impact on the environment than standard cotton. Organic production systems replenish and maintain soil fertility, reduce the use of toxic and persistent pesticides and fertilizers, and build biologically diverse agriculture.
